Directions

By Car

(Please note that Downie Terrace is parallel to Downie Grove and is part of Corstorphine Road. It is just a small terrace of houses exactly opposite Edinburgh Zoo.)

From Edinburgh Airport, follow signs to City Centre. Follow A8 for 3.5 miles/5.5 km. Dalmore Lodge is situated on the right after Corstorphine Village, opposite Edinburgh Zoo.

From the West, exit the M8 motorway at Junction 1, take the A720 north-bound for Edinburgh West. At the Gogar Roundabout, turn right onto the A8. Follow A8 for 3 miles/5km (as above).

From the North, approach Edinburgh on the A90, turn right at the Barnton Junction heading for A8. At the Maybury Junction, turn left onto the A8 City Centre. Follow A8 for 3 miles/5km (as above).

From the South, from A1 follow signs for A720 Edinburgh West & North. Follow A720 until Gogar Roundabout. At the Gogar Roundabout, turn right onto the A8. Follow A8 for 3 miles/5km (as above).

By Bus

Take the Lothian Airlink (Number 100) and exit at the Edinburgh Zoo bus stop.
